It is a town of about 3000 inhabitants located on the top of a hill. From the narrow streets of Tissi you can admire a wonderful view of the sea, splendid sunsets on Capocaccia to the south and the open sea of Porto Torres to the north in the frame of the lights of Sassari.

From Tissi there are many country paths that lead to the neighboring countries through vineyards and olive groves immersed in the scent of the Mediterranean scrub (wild fennel, myrtle, mastic, etc.). In Tissi you can find shops, pharmacies, pizzerias while the medical service is located in the neighboring village of Ossi.
